  1. Welcome to TR-WWW.

  3. PLEASE read the manual.  It is in html format, so use the open menu from your favourite client (eg mosaic or macweb) to open it up in glorious html.

  5. You must be using the latest beta (not release) version of machttp or nothing will work.
  6.  
  7. All the files and folders in this distribution MUST be placed in the same folder as Machttp.
  8.  
  9. Place your files to be searched into folders within the Docs folder, and give the folders appropriate names.  Each file and folder name within the Docs folder becomes a document set, that can be selected from the client from the pop up list at the bottom of the tr-www forms page.  If a folder is selected for searching, all the files in it, as well as its subfolders etc, will be searched.  If a file is selected, only that file will be searched.

  11. All files to be searched must be in the Docs folder hierarchy.  You can use aliases of files, but the aliases must still point to files that exist within the Docs folder hierarchy.

  13. To test it out, simply use your client to open the url
  14. http://yourserver.site/tr-www.cgi
